Practical Information

The Dutch Double Bass Festival will take place in the Oude Luxor Theatre and Villa Thalia in Rotterdam. Ticket control will be in the Oude Loxur so please report there first to get your wristband granting you access to all of the festival locations.

Zowel met de metro (Lijn D+E) als de tram (Lijn 4, 7, 8, 12, 21, 23, 24 en 25), stapt u uit bij halte Stadhuis of Weena. Ook bereikbaar met bus 39 en 40. Op zeven minuten lopen van Centraal Station. Voor het openbaar vervoer in Rotterdam heeft u een OV-Chipkaart nodig.t.

Oude Luxor Theatre as well as Villa Thalia can both easily be reached via public transport; either with the metro (Lines D+E); or with the tram (Lines 4, 7, 8, 12, 21, 23, 24 and 25), alight at either Stadhuis or Weena; with busses 39 an 40; or 7 minutes walk from Rotterdam Central Station. An OV-Chipkaart is required for use of public transport within Rotterdam.

Food and drinks

At the Dutch Double Bass Festival we have a broad range of food and drink, including vegetarian catering.

Dutch Double Bass Festival Foundation

The Dutch Double Bass Festival is organised by Stichting Dutch Double Bass Festival, a non-profit foundation. Artistic director is double bass player James Oesi.

The trustees of the foundation are: Makira Mual, Pieter Smithuijsen, Karen Smit and Karin Klooster
